Good breakfast and the service was excellent. The waitress was filling my coffee cup before I finished the first one & with a smile on her face. It was pretty busy when I went but got my breakfast in about 15 to 20 minutes.

I stopped by this place for a late lunch. It's a classic diner. There was a lot of seating area. The service was good. They had a large menu to order from. They have daily special. I tried the chicken tenders which came with 2 sides. They make their dressings in house. Overall I liked the place but don't travel this direction very often. Will stop by again if I ever happen to pass by.

Simple. Clean. Prompt service. Orders were correct. Food was good. Waitress kept table clean and glasses full. Basic service well executed.

Stopped for breakfast traveling through and was delighted to discover this small diner. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The whole place smelled wonderful.

Surry Diner is a good mom and pop restaurant near Dobson NC. It has old fashioned charm and reasonable prices.The folks are friendly....During the CV outbreak they had picnic dining and were trucker friendly....

Very busy place and for a good reason! Food and service was amazing! Trucker friendly if the lot isn't too full to turn around in (call just before arriving for a lot check!) Thanks for helping this trucker out! Had a great meal while my blown tire was replaced!

Large portion of prime rib was the best I've ever eaten. It almost melted in your mouth. Brought some home that I ate a small piece of cold. It was just as good & tender. Very good price & service. Served every Fri & Sat night

Roadside diner. Breakfast food was mediocre. Daily dinner specials menu looked good though.

Friendly waitresses, good selection, great tea. Biggest surprise was the huge Prime Rib they brought out! Baked sweet potato, Texas Toast, crisp salad with homemade dressing and that Prime Rib that melted in your mouth after really 😏 xciting your taste buds! Barb had a piece of homemade coconut pie that was delicious (I had to sample!). Both left with the intention of returning on Friday or Saturday for this special!
